NECW gets dozens of requests every week from wrestlers looking to be booked on our events.  Please read the following carefully, especially if you are new to the professional ranks.

Minimum Requirements

NECW is a professional organization.   We look for young athletes and performers who have the potential to achieve major league stardom.  We try to maintain the highest standard of professionalism in every aspect of our operations.  In order to be considered, you must be at least 18 years old and have been professionally trained by a reputable trainer in professional wrestling.   "Backyard wrestlers" will NOT be considered.

As a rule, we do not fly in wrestlers.   You must be in the area and available to work consistently.

We are an independent, regional promotion and our pay scale is in line with what other companies of this type offer.  

How to Apply

Send a current videotape, photo and resume to Talent Coordinator, NECW, P.O. Box 2371, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130-0020.

Turn-offs

We will not consider you if:

Your tape only includes music videos and promos.  Send bell-to-bell matches.  That is the only way we can see how you work.

You are unfamiliar to us and request bookings or send photos or resumes via e-mail.  This is a sure way not to be considered.  Send tapes, photos and a resume via snail mail.  Yes, we do watch them!

You have a "representative" or "agent" contact us.  This is an independent company, not the WWE.

The Facts of Wrestling Life

The reality of professional wrestling is that the number of available spots for wrestlers is limited.  Less than 200 wrestlers actually make a full-time living in the profession in North America.

NECW only has a limited number of spots at any given time.  We cannot possibly absorb all the capable athletes who approach us.  We appreciate people who keep in touch and keep working to improve themselves, even if we can't use them immediately.  If you have the heart and desire to be good, you will get there.  Keep trying and don't be discouraged.  If you have what it takes, you'll find a way to make it.
